Your money anxiety isn't actually about money.
Here's one simple practice this week to shift from anxiety to abundance.
Most people think their money stress comes from the numbers.
Debt.
Not enough savings.
Not knowing exactly what to do.
But often the real issue is something deeper.
Anxiety.
When your nervous system feels unsafe, it starts scanning for what could go wrong. And money becomes the perfect place for that worry to land.
It can look like:
• Constantly worrying about the future
• Checking your bank account obsessively… or avoiding it completely
• Feeling tight in your chest or stomach when thinking about money
• Needing reassurance before making even small financial decisions
None of this means you're bad with money.
It means your nervous system is trying to protect you.
But anxiety and abundance don't operate well together.
Abundance requires trust.
Trust in yourself.
Trust that you can respond to whatever comes.
When your brain is constantly rehearsing worst-case scenarios, your system stays in survival mode instead of openness and possibility.
So here's one practice to try this week.
When your mind jumps to the worst-case scenario about money, pause and ask:
What is actually true right now?
Maybe the truth is:
Most of your bills are currently paid.
You have income coming in.
You've solved problems before.
Once you name what's true, something powerful happens.
Your nervous system settles.
You can see the situation more clearly.
And clarity makes the next step visible.
Then write it down.
When money worries stay in your head, they tend to grow and spiral. When you put the numbers on paper, the situation usually becomes much simpler and more manageable.
This is one of the reasons a simple monthly budget can be so helpful.
It gives your brain evidence.
It shows what's actually happening.
And it turns anxiety into a plan.
From there, take one small action.
Pay one bill.
Move money to savings.
Review one category of spending.
Small, clear actions tell your nervous system that you are capable and in control.
And when your system feels safe, clarity returns and abundance has somewhere to land.
