If you want to change your money, do these 2 things
You don't need more money advice
You need a time, a plan, and people who will help you do it.
If you really want to change your money, there are two things I want you to start doing.
Not when you feel motivated.
Not when life calms down.
Not when you finally feel “ready.”
Now.
1. Pick a time to do your money things every single week.
Same day. Same time. Every week.
Put it on your calendar and treat it like an appointment.
Because one of the biggest things keeping people stuck with money is inconsistency. They avoid it until something forces them to look. They wait until they have enough time, enough energy, or feel ready to deal with it.
And if money already brings up anxiety, shame, overwhelm, or fear, you may never feel ready.
So stop waiting for the feeling.
Commit.
When you have a standing appointment with your money, you take some of the negotiation out of it. You don't have to decide every week whether you're going to deal with your money.
You just show up.
And every time you show up, you're also telling yourself: My money matters. My future matters. I am making space for this.
What do you actually do during that time?
Pay your bills. Review your spending. Check in on your budget. Look at your debt or savings goals. Make the money decisions you've been putting off.
And if part of the problem is that you don't even know what you should be doing with your money, join my program. I'll take the guesswork out of it. I'll help you figure out what needs your attention, what your next steps are, and we'll actually do the work together.
2. Get a money buddy.
Please stop trying to do all of this in isolation.
Find a friend who also wants to change their money and commit to doing your weekly money time together.
Because the people around you are reinforcing your current beliefs and behaviors around money, whether you realize it or not.
If everyone around you avoids money, overspends, complains about money, believes they'll never have enough, or thinks investing is something “other people” do, it is incredibly hard to become the person who does something different.
You need people around you who are going somewhere different.
You need a money tribe.
People who normalize looking at the numbers. People who celebrate you when you make a different choice. People who remind you of what you said you wanted when your old patterns start pulling you back.
Consistency + accountability.
It isn't sexy. It isn't a magic money hack.
But these are two of the most powerful things you can do if you actually want your financial life to change.
And if you don't have a money buddy, don't know what to do during your money time, or know you'll keep finding reasons not to do it alone, that's exactly why I created my group programs.
You don't have to figure out what to do next and then somehow hold yourself accountable to doing it.
I'll help you know what to do. We'll make time to actually do it. And you'll have a community doing it alongside you.
That's how we change your money.
